The Segment Marketing Manager position is responsible for formulating and executing integrated, strategically focused marketing plans to drive brand awareness, opinion, consideration, purchase and repurchase/loyalty to support business objectives by brand. This includes using marketing to help drive demand to achieve revenue and market segment penetration goals, across prospective and current clients in alignment with the corporate brand strategy. The execution of the strategic marketing plan is done with support from our internal studio team as well as partner agencies as appropriate. What You Will Be Doing

• Learning the business, product and go to market business model for the brand(s)
• Understanding the competitive landscape and helping strategically position the brand for success
• Working closely with sales management, sales teams as well as product/engineering management to develop an annual marketing strategy based on their go to market business model and business objectives
• Interfacing with the segment President monthly to ensure alignment with the marketing strategy and to gather additional direction and feedback
• Partnering with the sales team to enhance their success through recommending and developing integrated marketing tools such as website content, email campaigns, videos, collateral, presentation materials
• Achieving marketing qualified lead and pipeline targets by planning and executing marketing programs including email campaigns, webinars, tradeshows, social media content, video production, digital display advertising and marketing with in-house studio or third parties as appropriate
• Initiating and managing lead nurturing programs to accelerate prospects moving through the demand generation funnel
• Tracking and reporting on campaign costs, performance, and ROI to understand channel and offer performance
• Supporting, as needed, corporate-sponsored activities, such as customer conferences, annual kickoffs, tradeshows, and other ad-hoc activities by serving as segment or regional contact, providing project management and other support
• Supporting extended channel requirements like dealerships as an OEM provider of electric vehicles.
• Solving complex problems with minimal assistance
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field required (Master’s degree preferred)
• Minimum of 7 years related experience managing and/or leading marketing campaigns that vary in scope and complexity
• Experience with marketing electric vehicles
• Experience with channel marketing (dealers and distributors) a plus
• Previous experience collaborating with highly driven sales teams as demonstrated through a solid understanding of sales cycles and sales tool development
• Solid background in direct marketing and lead generation across multiple channels, including web-based communications including B2B lead generation and opportunity creation
• Experience monitoring the correlation between action and results, including champion-challenger testing, while leveraging that information to make improvements mid-project
• Must have demonstrated strong writing skills in Marketing applications
• Intermediate level user on Microsoft office applications
• Willing to travel, as needed
