Oversee all accounting functions including A/P, A/R, revenue recognition, bank reconciliations, prepaids, etc.
Balance and close all appropriate accounts monthly and annually
Manage cash accounts and assets. Oversee the maintenance of all financial accounts including credit cards, bank accounts and merchant accounts
Facilitate bi-weekly payroll processing with our third-party Payroll and HR vendor.
Develop annual budget for Board approval, monitor budget for material variations and advise on mid-year budget changes and allocations as needed
Prepare quarterly financial statements, and other ad hoc finance reports, for the CEO and Board Finance/Ops Committee. Engage and collaborate with the Finance/Ops Committee to further organizational initiatives.
Effectively communicate cash management and financial reports to the Board Finance/Ops Committee, and support the CEO in preparation for and during Board meetings
Support the CEO and Development Director with revenue projections and tracking
Prepare grant proposal budgets and final grant budget reports. Monitor use of grant funds, including tracking restricted funds and their disclosure in financial statements, and preparing salary allocations and other allocations as needed
Coordinate audits and proper filing of tax returns and state charitable registration renewals
Remain current on nonprofit management, audit best practices, and state and federal laws regarding nonprofit operations.
Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions
Manage insurance policies (health insurance, workers compensation, general liability, etc.)
Support the direct service team. You’ll work a full day at our mobile showers or Pop-Up Care Villages once a month to bring Radical Hospitality to their unhoused neighbors.
Welcome and orient guests to clients mobile hygiene and Pop-Up Care Village services with Radical Hospitality.
Distribute necessities (e.g., towels, razors, scrubbers, delousing medications, etc.) to guests as appropriate.
Work with program team set-up and breakdown mobile hygiene and Pop-Up Care Village events.
Help clean shower stalls after every use according to COVID-19 protocols (wear PPE, etc.)
Support the program team with other duties assigned while on-site.
