Our client is currently seeking a Internal Auditor 3. The client is committed to providing their clients with great service and powerful financial expertise to help them meet their financial goals.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Supervises internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, efficiency of operations, and compliance with governmental regulation.

• Works closely with internal clients at all levels in developing audit findings and recommendations regarding business process optimization, internal control and compliance. Reviews work papers. Performs complex testing procedures.

• Participates in the development and implementation of risk assessments and audit plans.

• Executes procedures and reviews work papers supporting external audit of internal controls, business processes, and account balances.

• Keeps abreast of internal control audit trends to assure audit processes remain effective.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6+ years of Internal Audit or related compliance/risk or line of business experience (in any of the following areas: Technology/Cyber/Security, CCAR, Capital Markets, Liquidity, Consumer/Commercial Banking, Mortgage banking/consumer lending, credit risk, independent risk management, asset management/investments/fiduciary, SOX, default management, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering, broker dealer and commercial securities.

• Experience managing a group of people.

• Financial services experience or experience in a highly regulated industry.

• Public accounting experience

• Experience as a regulator (Government Experience).

• Knowledge, insight, and understanding of major financial regulations (consumer and institutional) and how they apply to diverse banking processes and businesses.

• General compliance audit experience

DAY TO DAY RESPNSIBILITIES:

• Manage audit, develop test strategy

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree required
