Our client is currently seeking a Business Analyst.
Job
Summary:
-Creates business insights through the use of a SQL database environment by efficiently connecting, querying and preparing customer relationship data.
-Transforms data into insight by accessing large data sets from multiple sources to develop standard and ad hoc reports, scorecards and dashboards.
-Applies advanced statistical methodologies to measure customer behavior.
-Measures success of key customer marketing initiatives through continual monitoring, tracking and refreshing of analyses.
-Conducts post and return on investment analyses.
-Provides cross-functional business units with design of experiments (DOE) recommendations, uses expertise to develop testing parameters for A/B Testing and translates results into actionable recommendations.
Required Skills and Years of
Experience:
-MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS – Required
-SQL – Required
-Business Analytics – Required
-Phyton/R/SAS CODING – Preferred
Ideal Candidate will have the following:
-Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
-Data analysis experience a must
-Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills a must
-Excellent organizational skills a must
-Must be a team player with strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently
-Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and mathematical skills, using sound judgment
-Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
Preferred Skills and Years of
Experience:
5 years’ experience extracting large volume of data using SAS/SQL or other large data analysis tools required.
Experience in the retail industry or working with customer relationship data preferred.
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience extracting large volume of data using SAS/SQL or other large data analysis tools required.
Experience in the retail industry or working with customer relationship data preferred.
