Summary:
The focus of this position is on support of the Institute for Family Health technology, working in an IT Technician Lead capacity.
This position requires that the candidate lead a team of analysts by providing leadership in the areas of documentation, problem solving, and research for technical issues.
Excellent customer service and listening skills are critical for success.
DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for all job duties identified in the IT Technician job description.
Administer, maintain, and report on enterprise applications and hardware.
Works with the IT Manager to set priorities and overall direction for daily operations and projects.
Provides reporting on ticketing for resolution, status and trending.
Identifies new ways to solve issues and provides updates to the knowledgebase and the IT Technicians.
Serve as a resource for team members regarding difficult issues or procedure.
Assist the IT Manager in the coordination of the IT Technicians at the different locations based on priority and need.
Assures tickets are resolved in a timely manner or escalated appropriately.
Maintain and support an IT knowledgebase repository.
Is punctual and maintains a satisfactory attendance record.
Is appropriately attired for the office.
Demonstrates reliability and trustworthiness.
Manages time and other resources to meet established goals within the agreed upon time frames.
Maintains client/employee confidentiality in the management of information Demonstrates a professional, courteous, and respectful attitude in dealing with clients across all spectrums.
Ability to travel to all site locations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Installing and configuring hardware and software components.
Managing and prioritizing requests in ManageEngine Service Desk.
Establishing good relationships with all departments and locations.
Able to remain calm in high stress, high incoming call volume situations Experience in call center or similar environmentEDUCATION:
Associates degree in a related field of study, required.
(Four years of experience or alternative degree may be considered in lieu of required education.
