An education services organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Finance professional to join their staff as their new Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. In this role, the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for identifying and analyzing crucial business drivers, using finance metrics to support business growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for:
- Consolidating and effectively communicating information to key partners across the business
- Informing leadership and guiding department objectives
- Managing budgets and forecasting processes
- Analyzing strategic initiatives and new investments
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Finance experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or a related field
- Financial Planning & Analysis background
- Experience in an Investment Banking and/or Startup role/setting
- Experience with Budgeting and Forecasting
- Working understanding of GAAP concepts
- Advanced Financial Modeling skills
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
