ABOUT THE POSITION
Based in Washington D.C., the Finance Manager will report to Chief Financial Officer and supervise two staff accountants.
The Finance Manager will help to ensure the financial health of the organization by designing and orchestrating compliance efforts, supporting clean audits, and collaborating proactively with stakeholders across the organization. This position will manage day-to-day financial operations in accounting and compliance, while supporting the monitoring, control, direction, allocation, and use of financial resources. The Finance Manager will also have the opportunity to develop a financial planning and analysis function from the ground up. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in nonprofit accounting and financial planning practices who is excited to support the mission of The Education Trust and our focus on educational equity.

COMPENSATION
The annual salary for this position starts at $83,000 and will be commensurate with experience. The Education Trust offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as a 403(b) retirement plan.
