A successful Senior Finance Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis is one who is a self-starter and can efficiently manage analysis and insights in a broad range of Financial Planning, Analysis & Insights within Finance for The Coca-Cola Company at Global level.
Focus, Scope, & Impact:
The Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager is part of a pooled team that supports processes essential to the priorities of the Corporate Finance department, specifically FP&A, Finance Operations and Strategy Departments, and rotates between FP&A and Global Finance initiatives and key priorities. Specifically, the role:
Leads long term financial modeling (3-statements), working closely with broader FP&A team, Strategy, Corporate Development, Tax, Treasury and Controllers Group teams to develop and have a strong opinion on our long-term financials
Long-term growth model and scenario planning for The Coca-Cola Company through the development and maintenance of various comprehensive financial models.
Financial roll up and scenarios of the Long-Range Planning (next 3 years)
Leads the scenario modeling for the next 5-10 years
Support analysis on
Guidance and insights on resource allocation at Enterprise-level (both Category and Geography lenses) with focus on long-term analysis, including but not limited to Capital Allocation,
Macroeconomic trends to drive insights relevant to long-term scenario planning. Meet with stakeholders to discuss macro trend and implications, capture takeaways
Providing cutting-edge financial analytics to the organization and senior management
Partners and collaborates across various teams within the department, including Center System Economics, Industry Insights, and Center Planning and Performance Management teams. May include working with other Departments within the Finance Function, as well as other Global Functions, Operating Units, Platform Services based on the priorities of the Finance Function and the department
Key player in implementing significant change – FP&A is going through a significant transformation and this role will play a critical role in multiple aspects of this transformation, specifically long-term planning workstream
Leverages analysis and insights produced by Platform Services, Operating Units, Functions to create analysis and insights required to support rotating priorities whether specific initiatives, i.e., strategic projects within FP&A, Finance Operations and or other Corporate Finance Departments or a specific process e.g. Planning Process, Performance Management Process
Focuses on both short-term and mid-term Global Finance Initiatives
Supports broader Finance organization in insights generation, storytelling and impactful presentations
Partners with senior leaders and Planning, and Performance Management Leads to support the Business Plan, and Business Performance at the Global level, to drive alignment across multiple senior stakeholders, and to develop the key insights needed to inform strategic priorities
Leads internal Financial Benchmarking as well as outside-in perspective as it relates to planning & forecasting processes
Creates, designs, and maintains reusable datasets with appropriate architecture to deal with high level of data complexity
Contributes to the development of the analytical frameworks, tools and skills for the team and wider organization
Leads various ad-hoc strategic financial analysis and projects
Scope: Global
Education: BS Business, Economics, Finance or related at minimum. MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
Experience
8+ years of business experience, with experience in finance, strategic finance and planning
Ability to work in a diverse environment, highly efficient communicator and influencer at all levels, exemplifying network ways of working
