What You’ll Do for Us:
Define, facilitate and lead the development and implementation of lean-driven Operational Excellence strategies, programs framework to build OE culture and capabilities including mindsets and behaviors in CPS Puerto Rico.
Lead proactively in identifying and executing productivity improvement opportunities and value creation initiatives across the plant operating functions and also with BUs, customers and suppliers on key initiatives.
Lead capability development and certification programs in CPS Puerto Rico to develop and train all levels of associates in the use of OE and 6 Sigma, processes, tools and methodologies.
Build strategic and value added partnerships with internal and external customers, effectively representing CPS Puerto Rico and working with other business owners within TCCC BU/Region to ensure delivery of efficient solutions through the relentless identification and elimination of waste.
Define and implement effective training and development strategies and programs for associates to build organizational capability, ensure corporate and regulatory compliance and achieve organizational performance.
Work closely with CPS Puerto Rico Plant GM and Leadership Team, and CPS Transformation Team to understand and develop business strategy and jointly develop value creation initiatives for the system, that positively impact our Economic Profit.
Develop metrics to monitor that Operational Excellence efforts deliver significant value and productivity improvements in a sustainable manner.
Improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency by establishing cross-functional objectives, metrics and timelines with internal and external suppliers and customers (end-to-end processes).
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor Degree
Accreditation in LEAN and/or 6 Sigma (Black Belt) ; implementation experience required
Project Management certification preferred; significant experience required
MBA qualification desirable
At least 10 years of Food and/or Manufacturing integrated environment work experience with a minimum 3-5 years of leading Lean/Operational Excellence experience
Project Management experience (in multi-cultural setting preferred)
Proven Lean/OE project implementation leadership experience
Proven track record in managing and developing people and delivering results
Technical Skills
Strong Lean-driven Operational Excellence knowledge with proven practical experience in the use and application of lean principles and tools
Proven Project Management capabilities
Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
Manufacturing Functional knowledge
Finance Skills
Technically-savvy with good working knowledge of the Company, computer applications and information systems.
