Position Summary
As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the Vice President of Finance will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the Company. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will have primary responsibility for managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the Operating Entities. This will include direct oversight of the finance, strategic planning, costing, financing, and risk/insurance functions and departments. Duties/Responsibilities
Oversees the Companyxe2x80x99s risk/insurance function and ensures that sufficient resources are available to meet ongoing financial needs of the Company.
Work with company divisions as lead with the Contractor Controlled Insurance Program.
Work closely with management to identify potential risks, create policies and procedures for risk monitoring and mitigation, and manage company exposure.
Assists CFO in management of the Capital needs of the Company xe2x80x93 including helping guide all banking relationships, credit/bonding facilities and other capital sources.
Leads the Companyxe2x80x99s Capital Expenditure Budget and Processes including a second level review of all Companyxe2x80x99s fixed asset purchase transactions.
Reviews all significant financial analysis prepared by the finance team and ensures that it accurately presents the financial picture needed for the Executive Team to make all strategic financial decisions of the Company. Duties/Responsibilities Cont.
Assists the Executive Team with special projects and analysis as needed.
Take a lead role in all Mergers & Acquisition activities.
Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
Provides hands-on financial management support for any division operation during finance staffing transitions as well as for any start-up operation which does not have a dedicated finance staff.
Establishes and supervises all work practices of all the Companyxe2x80x99s Financial Planning & Analysis staff, including providing opportunities for training and development.
Provide leadership in the development of short and long-term strategic financial objectives that are fully aligned with the companyxe2x80x99s goals. Qualifications
Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree combined with at least 15 years of experience in either Accounting and/or Finance Managerial roles.
CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
Experience with Vista Viewpoint and Adaptive Insights preferred
Experienced Construction Financial Executive, preferably with a background with both public and private companies.
Direct experience in leading the financial management of a large-scale division and/or overseeing multiple divisions on a regional basis.
Strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, strong operational focus and a hands-on mindset.
Strong interpersonal skills, articulate, capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.

Day and overnight travel will be required as needed to support the business. Meetings at various Branch Group offices, and occasional industry-related conferences and educational events will require travel. Physical Demands
