The Arc of Butte County Looking for Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer at Keeler, California Full Time

The Executive Director is the chief administrator of the Arc , which is a community-based non-profit agency providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Responsibilities include overall administration of the agency, including management of fiscal and budgetary policies and procedures, program development and administration, fundraising, public and interagency relationships, grant writing, and employee hiring and supervision. The Executive Director is ultimately accountable to the Board of Directors in terms of implementation of the Board’s policies and directives. The Executive Director is classified as an Exempt, Full-Time Employee, entitled to all benefits provided by the Arc. Salary to be determined. Qualifications include a minimum of a BA or BS degree in Social Welfare, Public Administration, Business Administration, Education, Social Work or a related field and a minimum of two years of related experience; or five years of experience in a human services delivery system, including at least two years in a management or supervisory position. The Executive Director shall demonstrate knowledge of local, State and National governmental affairs that affect persons with developmental disabilities; and shall inform the Board, membership and clients of Arc, and the public of actions which should be taken to advance the interests of persons with developmental disabilities.
