Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant
Currently working with a family owned established distribution / wholesale industrial company that is currently seeking an Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant for their team. This person will work closely with the owner and handle all aspects of accounting for the company from soup to nuts and work with their outside CPA. Will lead a team of 3 accounting clerks and support a few different projects they have currently outstanding. Qualified candidates will have 7-10+ years of experience in accounting, strong US GAAP skills and great communication. Please apply for further consideration.

Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant
Current General Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant Duties:
Daily:
Cash management review
Interpretation of daily and monthly Sales, new orders, inventory, etc reports
Guidance and review of AR employee’s duties
Guidance and review of AR regarding any Sales Tax issues
Guidance and review of AP employee’s duties
Weekly review of payables prior to submittal for owner’s signature
Guidance and review of Invoicing employee’s duties and review for profit-margin percentages
Submission of Customer’s deposits to the bank via in-house machine
Liaison with bank
Submission of wire transfers for owner approval
Determination of credit worthiness of new and/or existing customers
Review commission agreements and help establish coordinated procedures with Sales Manager
