Responsibilities
- Process payroll for employees with accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Track and update employee information, including tax withholdings, deductions, and direct deposit details
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters promptly and accurately
- Resolve payroll discrepancies or issues proactively and in a timely manner
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Payroll Assistant or in a similar role
- Knowledge of payroll software and systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
