JOBSUMMARY

TheFinance Associate is responsible for general duties in support ofthe OpCo (operating company) operations and works in collaborationwith SBS (Sysco Business Services) to assist in resolvingexceptions and issues.

Specific duties will including,handling of local payments, deposits, managing petty cash, willcall transactions, scanning of supporting documentation, and localregulatory compliance.

This Finance role is responsible forperforming selected Finance and accounting duties that aretransactional oradministrative.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performingdeposits of all cash / manual payments that come directly to the OpCo(operating company)
• Scanning of back up supportfor checks, remittances, and other customerdocuments.
• Responsible for managing petty cashfund and replenishments
• Responsible forscanning invoices and receiving packets at theOpCo.
• Responsible for reporting issues withinquality control and providing documentation to the SBS processingteams.
• Work closely with the qualitycontrol teams to ensure claims are submitted to obtain suppliercredits
• Responsible for maintaining andreporting regulatory compliance (i.e. USDA, food safetydocumentation, etc.).
• Responsible for handlingwill call transactions involving payments from customers andemployees. Includes processing of employeepurchases.

Experience

2+years of finance and / or administration experience focused ondocument flow and handling transactional processing with depositprocessing experiencepreferred

• Must have exemplary listeningskills to facilitate effective two-waycommunication.

PhysicalDemands
