The primary purpose of this position is to deliver medications and other supplies to all client communities and its residents for the St. Louis Pharmacy.
Responsibilities: FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect assigned vehicle; check fluid levels, gas, and air pressure and adjust accordingly to ensure safe and proper operation. Complete vehicle inspection report daily and report any problems to the supervisor.
Verify all orders are properly processed and bagged for delivery.
Ability to follow pre-assigned delivery routes.
Meet the daily deadlines of scheduled medication deliveries.
Return all items sent back by the community to the appropriate area after each run.
Complete and file all documentation required regarding deliveries, including written and digital
signatures establishing proof of delivery
Assist in the process of community returns in pharmacy software according to policies and
procedures.
Communicates any client concerns to management.
Any and all duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES BASED ON ROUTE/LOCATION
Complete on-site medication replenishments at the client communities on a regular schedule. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily is necessary and the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a violation free driving record as per the driver’s eligibility requirements.
General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic computer problems.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Act as a liaison between communities and pharmacy displaying professional customer service and communication skills.
Must be able to work weekends, holidays and alternate shifts for PTO/staffing coverages as 24/7/365 operational needs dictate.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
Delivery driver experience.
