The Performance Excellence Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to achieve organizational performance excellence that leads to improved financial and non-financial performance and cultural buy-in. This is a pivotal role within our Company that acts as a trusted business partner, ambassador and change agent for process and performance excellence.
Duties/Responsibilities
Analyze current performance and develop strategies to improve organizational performance
Work with senior leaders to establish standards and metrics to measure performance and evaluate progress
Guide and support the effective prioritization of process improvement initiatives
Create and present business cases to support the investment, benefits and timelines for initiatives
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among teams to gain buy-in and ownership
Develop and implement improvement initiatives to ensure organizational goals are met
Regularly report on performance
Develop and deliver standard operating procedures and training materials to support performance excellence
Monitor and evaluate the sustained effectiveness of improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
Ensure ongoing compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
Champion a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
Inspire, influence, and deliver new ways of working collaboratively within the business, driving efficiency and performance excellence to ensure maximum value
Minimum Requirements, Abilities and Expectations
Bachelor s degree, preferably in a business or engineering discipline
MBA preferred but not required
10+ years of related professional experience including 5+ years of management experience
Significant experience with Lean, Six Sigma or similar process improvement discipline
Experience leading and driving change within a complex organization, working to engage and align functions and processes to benchmark, embed and implement sustained and successful transformation and delivery against key business objectives
Wide ranging knowledge of relevant process improvement techniques and change/project management methods
Significant experience managing resources and activities focused on delivering operational performance and continuous improvement
Proven experience at influencing team members at all levels of the organization
Ability to successfully bring together and drive cooperation across diverse teams with potentially conflicting goals and objectives
Ability to successfully prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Strong decision making and time management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
