Essential Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):
Initiate plans and processes that minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of labor, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
Attain business objectives and manage production schedules while ensuring that products meet our customers? specifications and high quality standards.
Design and implement manufacturing strategies and action plans so the production facilities support Sun Orchard?s strategic objectives.
Motivate, lead and manage a passionate and diverse personnel group that operates based on a culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
Establish and hold people accountable to team and individual goals and objectives.
Seek out and encourage use of new techniques and more efficient operating practices using fact-based problem solving.
Develop and adhere to annual and multi-year operational and capital budgets.
Continuously improve plant safety records by addressing both physical safety issues and employee attitudes toward safety.
Maintain facilities to meet GMP and safety requirements and juice HACCP standards.
Lead and support continuous development of SOP documentation and use.
Seek out and identify ways to make manufacturing operations more sustainable, in support of Sun Orchard?s commitment to providing ?Healthy Products from a Healthy Company?.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in business, engineering, or related field.
10+ years in a juice/dairy/beverage processing and manufacturing facility with 5+ years of managerial and leadership experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to lead and communicate with a multi-cultural and multi-lingual personnel team.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Inventory software and Manufacturing software, as well as general Email and Internet research capabilities.
Willing to work during second or third shifts and weekends. Willing to be flexible with work schedule by working various hours before and after shifts. Willing to schedule and attend meetings during off-shift hours.
