This role manages the accounts payable functions to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, as well as provide accurate data for supporting management decision-making.
BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise cash management/AP staff.
Resolve vendor invoice/payment discrepancies.
Perform general ledger monthly close entries.
Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
Review all AP invoice accruals for quarterly/annual closing.
Create and maintain AP information dashboards.
Build and enhance teamwork within the department and administrate task efficiency.
Improve and/or maintain internal controls.
Other duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree with 8 – 10 years of experience in Accounting including 2 – 4 years in middle management supervisory capacity
Accounts Payable and Cash management experience
Experience in reports building and accounting reconciliations
Strong analytical and teamwork skills
Advanced Excel skills and good business sense
