FLSA Status: Non-Exempt – Must record any and all time worked, whether approved or not. All time worked must be reported in the week it is worked.
Summary: Assists the Vice President of Accounting with the organization’s, and all its associated groups’, financial planning and financing practices, as well as its relationship with lending institutions, partners, and the financial community by performing the following duties.

Education/Experience: Four-year college or university degree in Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate, if applicable; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, group leaders within the company, and members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise up to two (2) subordinate supervisors. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of operational business units. Directly supervise one non-supervisory support employee. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance appraisal, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
