Position Title: Field Training Manager
FLSA: Exempt

Reports to: VP of Guest Experience
Restaurant/Location: Denver Support Office
Summary:
The Field Training Manager is responsible for coordination of training programs between the Support office and Field teams. The Field Training Manager will coordinate, deliver, and execute training programs to align with corporate and operational strategies. This position will support training programs for MITs, new rollouts, new restaurant openings, restaurant level training, and company initiatives. Position is focused on supporting the needs of the training department in the field and keeps up with documentation for company records. This Position requires a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business which includes working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Evaluate instructional effectiveness of restaurant trainers and training programs and recommend adjustments and/or changes where appropriate
· Responsible for the delivery, and continuous improvement of field training programs
· Assess the effectiveness of learning programs, and manage company-wide tracking of all trainings
· Responsible for evaluating, designing, coordinating, and delivering a comprehensive range of learning and education programs for all employees
· Training Manager will also conduct field assessments, develop individualized action plans, and evaluate outcomes of the training program.
· Responsible to follow-up with restaurant to ensure that that the skills and knowledge provided during training are consistently executed and quality customer service is delivered
· Assist, when necessary, in development of new curriculum and educational tools that drive educational initiatives, inspires the field team, and promotes business growth
· Plan and execute new restaurant training schedule and budgets: perform administrative and coordination duties to support new restaurant and training programs
· Conduct Train the Trainers with Certified Training Restaurant s (CTR)
· Re-inspect CTR’s on a quarterly basis. Create action plans and conduct re-inspections for any who do not pass re-inspection
· Perform administrative and coordination duties to support New Restaurant Openings and Training Programs
· Deliver approved curriculum and business relevant modules to all levels of operations, including new hire orientation, train-the-trainer, and one-on-one management training
· Select or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstrations, visual aid
· Develop and administer tests to trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training
· Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
· Formulating training outlines and determining instructional methods utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods such as individual training, group instruction and demonstrations.
· Track progress of MITs going through the program through restaurant visits, phone calls, tracking testing, etc.
· Maintain consistent development with new menu rollouts – ensuring every restaurant in my region has the hourly team completing education and testing
· Help maintain and update TOG University
· Other duties as assigned or delegated
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities
Work Environment
This job operates in the physical restaurants across the US and Canada while traveling. When not traveling, this job is in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
· Overnight travel up to 50%- 60% required for this position
· Comfortable being on camera for TOG University training content
· Must have ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
· Be able to lift/carry 40lbs
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis

Required Education and Experience
· Excellent computer skills, including MSOffice
· Strong work ethic, independence, and dependability
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop restaurant staff and Managers
· 5 plus years of experience preferably in training and operations
· Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills
· Demonstrated ability to lead by example and foster positive relationships within all levels of the organization
