Why you’ll love this position: This position is located in the Financial Services unit in the Division of Regulation and Licensure. It is an incredible opportunity to become an essential member of a small yet energetic unit that is responsible for all fiscal aspects of the division. You will also be working with cross-departmental teams on a variety of fiscal priorities, financial policy development, and grant/fiscal monitoring and tracking.
What you’ll do:
- Assist in the review and analysis of fiscal notes for potential impact to the Division and coordinate the fiscal note responses for submission.
- Assist in the preparation of the Division’s annual budget, supplemental and new decision item requests.
- Assist with the submission of grant applications and all related performance reports to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.
- Serve as a liaison with the division programs for grant budget related inquires, applications, and prepare and/or review all required financial reports.
- Coordinate federal fiscal year budget setups in SAM II financial
All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Accounting, Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
- Previous experience with Federal Grants and Fiscal Notes is preferred
- Previous experience with SAM II financial and Mo Buys is preferred
- Previous experience with Excel, Word, Access, and Adobe is required
