Northwestern State University’s Office of Business Affairs is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The successful candidate must have strong business skills. Also, they must be able to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with all members of the NSU community. It is essential for the successful candidate to be able to address all business and personnel matters in a professional, composed, and effective manner.

This administrative position is responsible for managing the business and financial services of the University. This position exists to be an enabler or supporter for other administrators and department heads, helping them determine how to accomplish their objectives and thereby providing a supportive foundation for organizational success. As the University’s CFO, this position provides collaborative financial management leadership for the University; ensures the short and long-term fiscal health of the University; oversees the business practices of the University; and ensures that the budget is linked to and supports the University’s strategic plans.
