Summary/Objective
Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff.
Oversees and ensures that medical cost payments are being disburse to vendors in a
timely manner.
Essential Functions

Serves as job expert or organization resource in assigned area
Supervises and plans work of assigned staff
Oversees the daily operations of the unit
Provides training and instruction to staff
Assist vendors with vendor update requests
Responds to vendor inquiries to resolve payment disputes
Communicates and coordinates with the other accounting supervisor on special
projects and overall cohesiveness of the unit
Other duties as assigned

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard
office equipment such as computers, fax machines and scanners.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or
hear. The employee frequently is required to sit at a desk. The employee is occasionally
required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00
Travel
No business travel is required for this position.
Required Education And Experience
Associate’s degree in business curriculum or related field from an accredited college or
university AND One year of experience performing accounting and/or fiscal control
functions OR High school diploma or GED AND Three years of experience performing
accounting and/or fiscal control functions
Preferred Education And Experience
Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum
Qualifications, Possess One Or More Of The Items Below
or related field AND Three years of experience performing accounting and/or
fiscal control functions OR Three years of which as a lead worker/team leader,
performing accounting and/or fiscal control functions
of Record, and Applicant Travel
