The Department of Economic Security, Division of Aging and Adult Services, seeks an analytical and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Finance Supervisor with Finance and Business Operations.
You are responsible for all strategic fiscal decisions within the Division related to sub-recipient activities and federal reporting data related to numerous fund sources. You supervise staff responsible for the day-to-day operations of more than 15 sub-recipient fund sources staying within budgetary constraints and ensuring contract requirements are followed. You develop, review, and evaluate budget policies and procedures. You plan, organize, and execute internal controls/reconciliations. You research, analyze, evaluate, and develop findings and make recommendations involving complex budget and financial management issues.

A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or business administration from an accredited college or university and three (3) years’ experience dealing with complex financial issues; OR 1 year as a Financial Analyst 2 or 2 years as a Financial Analyst 1 in AZ state government. Supervisory experience is desirable.
