Manages the operation of a specialized service of the Department performing such functions as supervision of subordinate personnel; administration of daily operations of the work unit, performance of independent research studies, as well as, participation in group research studies; analyzing and recommending changes to the work unit policies, procedures and practices. Performs related duties as assigned. This is a competitive classification.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires four (4) years of professional analytical experience, of which at least 3 years must have been in a supervisory or management position.
NOTE: Sixty (60) semester hours (or equivalent quarter hours) from an accredited college or university may substitute for one year of the supervisory experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHSYCIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Office setting. May be required to travel to perform certain work functions.
