PositionSummary : The Accounting Specialist will play acritical role in managing daytoday accounting operations ensuringaccuracy and compliance with established financial practices

Theideal candidate will have strong experience in both accountspayable and receivable reconciliations and general ledgermaintenance

KeyResponsibilities :

• Accounts Payable(AP) :
• Processand review invoices for accuracy andcompleteness
• Perform way and way matchingcoding and batching of invoices
• Prepare andissue checks electronic payments and wiretransfers
• Maintain vendor relationshipsthrough effective communication and timely issueresolution
• AccountsReceivable(AR) :
• Generateand distribute customer invoices ensuring accuracy and timelydelivery
• Record and reconcile customerpayments (cash checks ACH and creditcard)
• Prepare and distribute aging reportsconducting followups for overdueaccounts
• Manage customer inquiries and resolvediscrepanciespromptly
• BankReconciliations :
• Reconcilemonthly bank statements credit card statements and vendoraccounts
• Investigate and resolve discrepanciesbetween the general ledger and bankstatements
• GeneralLedger (G / L)Maintenance :
• Assistin monthend and yearend closing processes including journal entriesand account reconciliations
• Maintain accurateand organized financial records ensuring compliance with companypolicies andGAAP
• FinancialReporting :
• Assistwith the preparation of financial reports including balance sheetsincome statements and cash flowstatements
• Support internal and externalaudits by providing necessary documentation andexplanations
• OtherDuties :
• Collaboratewith other departments to support overall financialgoals
• Assist with special projects and adhocreporting as needed

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance orrelated field preferred
• years of experiencein accounting with a focus on AP AR andG / L
• Proficiency in accounting software (egQuickBooks SAP Oracle) and MS Office Suite especiallyExcel
• Strong understanding of accountingprinciples GAAP and financialreporting
• Excellent attention to detailorganizational and time managementskills
• Ability to work independently and aspart of a team in a fastpacedenvironment
• Strong communication skills bothverbal and written
