Stage 3 Separation Looking for Staff Accountant at Houston, TX Full Time

• Responsible for various types of reconciliations, analytical review, analysis and maintaining effective internal controls
• Create invoices from provided field tickets received from the operations team into accounting system
• Maintain relationship with field management who get operations tickets approved
• Maintain relationship with sales personnel to match invoices to appropriate sales bids/pricing
• Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
• Communicate with customers to request payment
• Accurately send invoices to customers through required invoice submittal processes in a timely manner
• Continually develop and document overall processes
• Take ownership of and maintain aged accounts receivables, ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years experience working in accounting related roles
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Understanding of financial statements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to interpret and understand large datasets
• Experience with OpenInvoice and SAP Business Network submission portals
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workload and meet short deadlines
