Seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the senior executive team and help provide strategic and tactical contributions to ensure the company reaches its business objectives. The successful candidates will bring 15+ years of proven success as a financial executive with CFO management responsibility. Lead corporate finance, treasury, accounting, and administrative functions. Drive forecasting, optimize cash, and act as the primary liaison with lenders and equity investors. Become an expert in project/ solar financing (including term debt and tax equity structures, partnership accounting) and proven leadership skills. Industry experience in renewable (solar) energy is preferred but receptive to similar exposure in other renewable sectors, project financing, energy markets, utilities, equipment leasing, real estate, financial products, commercial banking, or investment banking.
Responsibilities:
• Lead financial planning, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury
• Optimize cash deployment and oversee high volume transactions
• Report to and communicate regularly with investors, lenders, and other capital providers
• Drive auditors to complete annual audits, tax returns, and K-1s on time and withing budget
• Support the project-financing team in sourcing credit facilities and other sources of capital
• Drive the asset- management team in optimizing performance and reporting to investors
• Lead the company in optimizing and automating reporting and compliance
• Define and implement process systems, and controls for financial planning and reporting, billing and payment, payroll, HR and related functions to support rapid growth
Requirements:
• Previous CFO experience, CPA, CMA, Chartered Accountant
• MBA and public accounting experience preferred
• Proven track record in corporate finance, including credit lines and warehousing facilities
• Personable with high energy, action-oriented and the ability to develop and lead a team
• Superb oral and written communication abilities and deadline oriented
