Marketing Administrator

Position Summary

Over the next five years our ministry vision is:   To eradicate social isolation and disconnection by practicing the faithful presence of the incarnate Christ. This vision includes many new and exciting initiatives. We are looking for the right person to join our small but growing Marketing and Communications team, which person will contribute their knowledge and experience to help St. Andrew communicate our vision to multiple audiences and to create deeper relationships throughout our area and beyond.

The Administrator role will be an essential and highly visible person on our team. They will develop and manage multiple marketing and communication platforms implementing best practices, providing analytical insights, and developing the patron experience across multiple platforms, in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. As part of the team, they will assist in planning and executing St. Andrew’s communications, marketing, and brand experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee email marketing campaigns, email platforms and the user experience. Including copy, images, scheduling, testing, and database (CRM) management.
• In partnership oversee the execution of social media daily, weekly, and monthly strategies. Utilizing Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok, and other social media platforms to promote campaigns, programs, and events for multiple segments.
• Collaborate with program leads to develop strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics.
• Develop and manage website representation through Wordpress and other applications to ensure functionality, the user experience and point of sale best practices, and SEO optimization.
• Monitor the website, email, and other related platforms. In partnership, to ensure site functionality and usability. Ability to conduct end-to-end functionality tests.
• Use photo and content software to edit and design online advertisements (banners, HTML base e-mails, etc . )
• Assist in developing and managing content, including content libraries and databases. Utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software applications, co-design the patron experience.
• Evaluate digital and email performance on an ongoing basis, by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports, market research, and implementing ongoing improvements.
• As needed, support the marketing department’s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking omni-channel communications.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing technologies & platforms
• Experience with implementing best practices for digital and email marketing channels such as: email, social media, and website platforms.
• Familiarity with or similar software technology such as Wordpress, PHP, MySQL, Content Management Systems (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Must have strong organizational, project management, and customer service skills, as well as attention to detail. Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to deliver elements of creative design and advertising copy.
• Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
• Must be able to embrace technology as needed such as, Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Adobe Suite, InDesign, Canva

Remuneration
The package for this position includes

• Salary between $42,000 – $58,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
