Summary – Customer Success Manager

The Customer Success Manager is role is responsible for the successful planning, coordinating, scheduling, managing and execution of various technology projects and initiatives. This role is responsible for managing and reporting to the client and to Spencer leadership on status of adherence to all SLAs and SOWs. This role will partner with Spencer customers, vendors, manufactures and internal teams to successfully deliver and execute. Successful candidates will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be able to manage competing priorities, provide sound, logical planning of activities and be a team player. The Account Manager will need to develop, create and produce various deliverables and documentation. Must be able to effectively lead cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a good overall technology understanding with significant technical support and PM experience.

Role and Responsibilities – Primary

• Develop and maintain critical relationships across the organization
• Creation of documentation, reporting, and business updates for senior leadership.
• Identify and drive process improvement
• On-boarding new associates, implementing tasks, managing escalations, auditing work quality, and increasing transparency through reporting
• Familiar with various store technologies found at retailers including Point of Sale, Wireless, Key Systems, Routers and Switches
• Develop project plans from customer requirements and interactions with various parties
• Provide daily/weekly status reports in a variety of formats (both written verbal)
• Must be customer service centric and understand relationship-building
• Provide leadership to cross-functional team members while driving to a common goal.
• Provides consultation, makes recommendations, gives appropriate advice, and/or facilitates decisions.
• Develop and/or implement new policies/procedures/standards and/or rules/regulations
• Daily management of a Project Management Team(8-10 employees)
• Ability to creatively show project metrics at both a detailed and leadership informational level

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years involved in Project Management from an individual contributor to a PM
• Retail experience preferred
• Excellent Working Knowledge of Microsoft Business Applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communications skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work in both team environments and as an individual contributor.
• Nights and weekends, as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
