Golden Triangle Animal Hospital is located just right outside of Dallas in Southlake, Texas. We are an AAHA accredited hospital providing veterinary care to dogs and cats. Golden Triangle Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. We also offer boarding and daycare services. We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and help ensure we are providing those great experiences. When you join our organization as a Veterinary Technician, you gain access to a peer network of over 5000 individuals, CE allowance, and Learning & Development programs to help you meet your career goals.
Position Skills:
Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members
Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
Proficient in dental prophylaxis
Position Requirements:
Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
