Become a Marketing and Outreach Advisor working with Customer Programs & Services at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will be responsible for serving as the Income Qualified Program (IQP) subject matter expert in coordinating the content, design, compliance, and distribution of customer facing marketing collateral including print, website, and social media. The role will establish relationships with customer-centric organizations targeting a similar customer base and will coordinate with both internal and external parties to streamline and optimize IQP marketing to drive customer awareness of SCEs energy efficiency and bill assistance programs. This role is essential to ensure that IQP meets all compliance mandates as well as positions SCE as a role model for outreach among interested parties such as the Low Income Oversight Board, the CPUC, and Energy Division.

In this Advisor role, your primary goal is to support the health, comfort and safety of the most vulnerable and hard to reach low-income customers in SCE’s territory. A day in the life – Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

• Establish relationships with local organizations and state agencies (e.g. Medi-Cal, SNAP, Community Services and Development) targeting low-income households. Implement IQP’s Tribal outreach strategy in SCE’s service territories and adhere to any consultation or outreach requirements as part of the Commission’s Tribal Consultation Policy.
• Support the California Workforce Development Board’s Energy and Climate Jobs initiatives by establishing formal partnerships between the contractors, apprenticeships, and community college programs to better integrate Energy Savings Assistance Program (ESA) into energy efficiency workforce education, as well as with organizations that provide services to assist in developing ESA workers.
• Write and update all marketing and outreach sections in monthly and annual IQP compliance reporting.
• Lead all social media, text message, and other print campaigns for various IQP programs
• Manage the ESA/CARE outbound campaigns on the Genesys Cloud Platform
• Act as a lead IQP Marketing and Outreach representative at internal and external engagements

Qualifications

The essentials

• Seven (7) years’ experience performing marketing and outreach activities
• Experience engaging with state/federal, non-profit agencies, tribal or Community Based Organizations.

The preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or other related field
• Effective skills and ability to understand and present data.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency products and services
• Experience with California regulatory structure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
