Recruiting & Networking Coordinator reports to: Director of Accounting & HR
Overview: The Recruiting & Networking Coordinator plays a strategic role in filling vacancies across the organization to support Soccer Shots operations throughout DC, MD & VA. In this role, you will be leading the organization’s recruiting and networking efforts. You will be responsible for partnering with and supporting Program Directors during the recruiting and screening stage for coaches and interns, as well as other full time positions. We’re looking for a motivated individual who can source talent locally and strategically, and is thoroughly passionate about our mission. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying additional opportunities in the communities that we serve to partner with local businesses and organizations to increase brand awareness.

Salary: $42,500 to $45,000 per year based on experience
Recruitment:
Research and attend career fairs, post for new positions within CareerPlug (Applicant Tracking System, “ATS”) and other strategic locations, review candidates, and help with all other aspects of recruiting/hiring
Track origin of all candidates through the ATS
Drive recruiting strategy
Review and screen applicants
Coordinate interview process as needed
Communicate findings with other staff as necessary
Create weekly recruitment reports for Leadership Team
Networking:
Seek out events and opportunities to build the brand and increase brand awareness to targeted individuals including, but not limited to employees, customers, parents, childcare centers, strategic partners, parks, etc. as follows:
o Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships in the communities that we serve
o Assisting Program Directors in identifying and activating at key community events
o Educating the public on Soccer Shots programs and its mission
o Identifying opportunities for public relations
o Creating newsletters and press releases
Internship:
Provide leadership in the continued development and implementation of a viable Internship program.
Manage the application process for and placement of students at Soccer Shots locations to perform their Internship.
Maintain communication with interns through weekly meetings to contribute to professional growth, provide feedback and a collaborative environment.
Develop new strategies to enhance the internship program.
Collaborate with team on all aspects of programming, reporting, and special events.
Required education/experience:
College degree required in a related field
3-5 years of experience in human resources, business, communications, marketing, or a similar field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Role/Classification/Schedule/Location: This position is a full-time, Exempt position requiring 40-50 hours of work per week. Typical/expected working hours are Monday through Friday, between 8:30am and 5:00pm. On occasion, it may be necessary to work additional hours, including some weekday evenings and some Saturdays to meet deadlines and to exceed goals. This position will work out of the Laurel, MD office, unless otherwise approved.

Employment and compensation is based on overall performance of both the Company and the employee, and SSF reserves the right to terminate employment for failure to meet expectations.
Evaluation and Review:
Soccer Shots will perform an initial review after 60 days
Soccer Shots will perform an annual employee review
