SNDBX is a league-based program that brings together video games, theaters, and families in a familiar and fun competitive sports structure. We are an ever-evolving, consumer-centric organization that creates esports for everyone.
The League Manager is responsible for on-site execution for a defined theater-based league and managing attendees, implementation and upkeep of equipment, coordination with Coaches and other Staff under the direction of the District Manager as well as directly with theater personnel. This position is ideal for someone that is passionate about gaming and esports, has experience in operating live events and tournaments, adept with gaming technology including PCs, consoles, and AV equipment with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast- paced environment.
Responsibilities for the Video Game League Manager
- Manage and report on assigned SNDBX leagues including weekly play schedules, match and player/team coordination, rule adherence, results tracking and reporting, and other administrative or logistical needs
- Maintain and operate gaming equipment, updates, and patches as well as support connectivity integration to theater facilities for audio and video
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate service and repair concerns
- Regularly engage with community members at a 1:1 level, encouraging discussion and engagement to contribute towards the growth of the community
- Identify and leverage key influencers to evangelize SNDBX in the community
- Interface with internal resources to produce and utilize assets required to support league deliverables
- Provide regular structured updates to the District Manager, informing of community sentiment and player-focused league performance Experience
- 1+ years of experience in operating tournaments
- Native English speaking and writing proficiency
- Strong understanding of gaming and PC hardware, services, and platforms
- Adept Discord user with experience administering servers
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with distributed/remote teams and the ability to multitask
- Strong organizational skills, an independent, self-motivated work style and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Previous experience with customer first-contacts and de-escalations is a plus
Experience Preferred for Video Game League Manager

Location: The League Manager will be running leagues at multiple movie theaters in the Secaucus area.
