Our client are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join their expanding team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in their financial management and operations, leading accounting practices and objectives that will support our aggressive growth targets in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities: • Financial Management and Reporting: • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis for executive management. • Regulatory and Compliance: • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation, and maintaining compliance documentation. • Coordinate and manage the external audit process, liaise with external auditors, and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Budget and Forecast: • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, as well as monthly and quarterly forecast updates. • Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations. • Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement: • Identify and implement best practices in accounting to optimize operational efficiency. • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and tools. • Team Leadership and Development: • Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. • Promote collaboration within the team and across departments.
Special Projects: Participate in various company projects related to acquisitions, strategic planning, and expansion initiatives.
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or CPA designation is a plus. • Minimum of 7 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. • Experience in the healthcare sector is highly desired. • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Proficiency with accounting software and tools, and experience with financial systems implementation. • Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
