Position Overview

• The Finance Associate owns all accounting, controlling, reporting and business administration activities for Next47 Inc., USA legal entity.

• The main tasks of this role include ad-hoc analysis, periodic forecasting, variance analysis, quarterly financial certification, vendor contract management compliance and purchase-to-pay activities.

• Reporting to Next47 CFO, the Finance Associate will serve as a key member of the Next47 finance team and its equivalent to Head of Accounting/Controlling position within Siemens.

• The Finance Associate will not only bring a high degree of technical finance skills but also thrive in a collaborative and matrixed environment requiring close partnership with Next47’s finance team in Germany as well as Siemens Corporate departments.

• On this role the Finance Associate will support implementations of financial and business administration internal policies, standards, and procedures.

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Customize and present financial information to multiple stakeholders

• Proactive, problem-solving attitude

• High comfort level collaborating with a diverse mix of partners and stakeholders

• Proficient in Excel

• Ability to quickly learn ERP systems and different reporting tools

• General knowledge of accounting and financial principles

• Ability to develop complex financial reports

• Attention to detail and able to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications:

• Academic background in finance, accounting, business administration or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year finance and accounting experience
