Overview: We are seeking to hire a Tax Analyst who will have an integral role in US federal, multistate, and international tax compliance. The Tax Analyst conducts research, prepares technical memos, and works on special projects. The Tax Analyst reports to the Associate Director of Tax. Responsibilities: Compile and analyze data necessary to complete income tax returns, including calculating book/tax differences and preparing supporting schedules Compile and analyze data necessary to complete sales and use tax returns Compile and analyze data necessary to complete the research and development tax credit Compile and analyze data necessary to complete US international forms, including 5471 and 8858 Maintain tax fixed assets Prepare estimated tax installment computations and payments Prepare state and local tax apportionment and modification workpapers Research and prepare tax technical memos Track and prepare responses to tax inquiries from US federal, state governments Assist with the worldwide tax provision under ASC740 Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Master’s degree is a plus 1-4 years of experience in accounting or related field Degree in Accounting, Finance preferred Audit or Tax experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm Strong PC skills, experience with high volume data analytic tools, proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) SAP, Vertex, Alteryx, advanced Excel skills a plus Self-starter Team player; collaborative with peers Ability to work independently with attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytic and problem-solving skills Ability to master complex tasks and simultaneously execute multiple projects Ability to be flexible and work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment IND123Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
