We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team. The Marketing Assistant will provide administrative and office support across the marketing department.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is motivated and looking to develop a long-term career in Marketing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provides administrative support to the marketing department.
• Responds to and coordinates distribution of marketing-related requests for information and materials; ensures confidentiality in correspondence.
• Prepares reports, conducts data entry, and gathers requested marketing materials; creates presentations as requested.
• Perform data cleanup and validation to maintain accuracy and integrity of results.
• Ensures marketing invoices are accounted for, accurate, and paid across all companies.
• Maintains department supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies;

verifying receipt of supplies.

• Coordinate, process, and track community and employee sponsorships.
• Assist the Home Office Team with direct mail initiatives, including list pulls, data clean-up, and more.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS :

• 1-2 years of experience working in an office setting, completing administrative tasks.
• Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
• Highly organized.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

• Regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and type.
• Speaking and hearing ability; heavy communication through talking and listening to employees and clients directly as well as through telephone conversations to resolving issues
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• May lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
