Reporting to the Controller, the Finance Manager is responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of the company-wide P&L. The Finance Manager will work cross-functionally with each department lead to provide insights on financial performance to help improve the accuracy of forecasts and profitability.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Lead the annual planning process to produce the firm-wide budget
Manage all departmental financial planning, budgeting, forecasting & reporting; working with department leads to maintain and increase the accuracy of forecasts
Analyze financial and operational results and present monthly flux review with commentary to department leads
Effectively communicate with peers, clients, leadership, and operations personnel the reasons behind the financial performance and results to facilitate informed decision making
Provide reporting, insights, and analysis on client and project profitability
Monitor expense and headcount plan vs actual and provide analysis/recommendation for business partners
Prepare monthly dashboard of operating results, trends, and metrics for the executive team
Actively participate in the monthly close processes, working with the accounting team to ensures all financial reporting deadlines are met
Analyze financial information to provide actionable insights for efficient use of resources, providing strategic recommendations, and propose solutions to business and financial problems
Support the Controller with a wide variety of functions including transactional processing, analysis, cost allocations, audit support and ad hoc analysis or reports as needed
Systems management: be the system admin for the finance ERP, manage the implementation of FP&A tool
Document and maintain accounting policies, procedures and controls in accordance with sound accounting principles, policies, and best practices

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
7+ years’ experience of increasing responsibility in finance partnership roles with a bias towards quantitative analysis
Strong Excel skills – candidate should be comfortable with and competent in financial modeling, pivot tables, and charts
Analytical skills and experience managing complex data sets and identifying relevant trends
Sage Intacct experience a plus
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative, and integrity
Solid knowledge of US GAAP
Highly detailed and organized
