PRIMARY PURPOSE : To manage completion of internal and external revenue reporting and to provide financial and technical support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages and monitors KPI’s of the revenue group to confirm performance metrics are met and communicated.
Researches, identifies and accounts for Life of Claim analysis/contracts (Deferred Revenue)
Creates, monitors and adheres to control and properly protect Sedgwick assets
Reports fluctuations in various revenue accounts to senior management.
Implements process improvements initiatives.
Monitors and manages closing to meet or exceed closing timelines.
Responds to RFPs.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supports the organization’s quality program(s).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Major in accounting field strongly preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent designation preferred.
Experience
Eight (8) years of accounting, auditing and/or financial analysis experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include four (4) years of management experience.
