Seattle Children’s is excited to launch a national search for a Director of Development, Mental Health and Neurosciences. This position will enhance Seattle Children’s programs, services and research dedicated to the next generation of precision medicine neuroscience and behavioral health, including Generation REACH, Seattle Children’s bold new initiative to address the growing youth mental health. The successful candidate will contribute to Seattle Children’s commitment to health equity and anti-racism as a member of a comprehensive, integrated Development team focused on developing a major and transformational gifts program.
In this position you will:
Required Education/Experience: – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. – Minimum 5 years of major gifts/fundraising experience in non-profit and/or higher education environment required, including prospect solicitation and management. – Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and donor databases. Preferred: – Knowledge of the Greater Seattle Area and WAMI philanthropic community is an asset. – Experience closing and/or working with six and seven figure gifts and/or grants. – Previous major gift fundraising experience in a healthcare or research focused organization. – Previous experience working with trustees and other community volunteers. – Prior experience with Raisers Edge donor data base systems.
Min: USD $52.23/Hr. Max: USD $78.35/Hr.
Min Salary: USD $108,638.40/Hr. Max Salary: USD $162,968.00/Hr.
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children’s offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
This compensation range is specific to Seattle, positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
