Sealed Air Corporation Looking for Sr. Financial Analyst – FP&A at Charlotte Metro Full Time

Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for preparing and coordinating monthly presentations for the Executive Operational Review (ExOR) as well as monthly and quarterly reports used by key Executives and the Investor Relations team. This position is also responsible for preparing financial updates to the Board of Directors, and a key player in the monthly forecasting process.

As part of the FP&A team, the Senior Financial Analyst will also be required to assist with the monthly forecasting process, the monthly variances analysis and support special projects and ad hoc analyses as required. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and time management skills. He / she can think critically to navigate financial information systems and can simplify information to create clear outputs to support decision-making. The candidate must have effective communication skills with all levels of management and be able to work with cross-functional teams.

Job Description:

• Prepare and coordinate the materials for the Monthly Executive Operational Review (ExOR)

• Review and consolidate the change in components of sales (i.e. price, volume, acquisition, exchange)

• Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors to highlight financial trends and summarize business plans

• Prepare quarterly support to be used by Investor Relations on the Earnings Call

• Maintain and update a financial summary for the CEO on a monthly basis

• Facilitate and review weekly sales flash process with Regional Commercial Finance teams

• Own various components of the forecast, close, and planning process including Other Income/Expense and Depreciation & Amortization

• Support Manager of Corporate FP&A in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process

• Perform ad hoc analysis using Hyperion and Hyperion Planning systems to support requests from senior management

• Support the FP&A manager on various ad hoc requests and special projects

• Coordinate and test Planning system changes and updates with the Corporate Financial Systems team as needed

• Work collaboratively with various groups throughout the organization including Regional Divisions, Supply Chain, Shared Services, Corporate Reporting, Tax, and Treasury

• Identify and implement improvements across financial processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA/CPA preferred

• 3 – 5 years of work experience, preferably in a corporate finance setting of a multi-national or multi-location business

• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in supporting senior management

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles

• Strong verbal and written presentation skills; highly comfortable with Microsoft PowerPoint

• Advanced Excel user – VBA programming a plus

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI is desirable

• Financial information systems knowledge; preferably SAP, SAP BW, Hyperion Planning, HFM and OneStream

• Analytical skills including financial planning analysis

• Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment; able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines

• Ability to organize and prioritize work for self; able to work both independently and in a team environment

• Collaborative team player, excellent interpersonal and team building skills

• Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus/preferred
