The Logistics Finance Controller works closely with Schreiber Logistics, Transportation, and other areas of Finance and is responsible for customer financial planning and modeling. This position will work closely with organization leaders to help formulate and refine the strategy and financial projections for the business. This position will lead the reporting and process changes necessary to achieve this.
This position may be considered for a full-time remote or a hybrid work schedule located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin office. The hybrid work schedule is 2-3 days at Home Office and the remainder from home.
What you’ll do:

• Lead data accuracy and accessibility improvement through process design changes and development. Understand end to end financial processes and improve stock level profitability accuracy. This will require leading changes to month end close processes and stock level variance allocation processes. Ensure appropriate process are established and followed to support accurate financial data.
• Partner with Information Systems to develop necessary financial reporting to drive the business. Develop weekly financial metrics and margin exception reporting to aid in timely margin management.
• Support decision-making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance. Develop financial models and proactive reporting to support organizational understanding of margin expectation gaps. Facilitate Component (Inbound, Storage & Handling, Interplant, Outbound) margin review by customer. Identify necessary component level changes to meet margin expectations.
• Assist in quoting process providing insight on margin expectations and ensuring cost assumptions are current and relevant.
• Represent Finance as a process owner and/or performer in customer onboarding and process developments/enhancements
• Participate in business planning and forecasting processes. Participate in Redistribution leadership meetings where appropriate.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Transportation, Logistics
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills specifically associated with price and cost
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, tenacity and ability to drive change across the organization
• Ability to work with very detailed information and present in an actionable manner
• Self-motivated, willingness to learn and take on new challenges
