Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer of a growing construction Company, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, internal reporting and other financial modeling needs. This highly motivated individual must operate with the utmost integrity, bring influential and effective interpersonal skills and have a proven ability to take initiative and deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
Annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting
Operational (revenue/gross margin) forecasting models prepared in cooperation with Operations management and the Cost Control Group
Pro forma models including P&L, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows
Monthly reporting including internal management reports, parent company submittals, Overhead variance and Shop/Yard P&L reports
Assist equipment operations team and cost control group with tracking and modeling of equipment operations.
Long-term cash forecast model prepared in conjunction with the Cost Controls Group
Development, improvement and/or maintenance of all Financial Reporting within and outside of the existing ERP system
Manage FP&A Staff
Audit support and other reporting as necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in finance or accounting required
10+ years of progressive FP&A experience
Strong knowledge of accounting operations.
Strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation and planning/prioritizing skills.
Strong Excel skills with willingness to learn and train others on advanced capabilities
Demonstrated ability to partner with other leaders
Construction accounting experience and/or public accounting experience preferred but not required
