Job Description/Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of monthly reporting for logistics. Lead the development of FY forecast. Provide variance analysis of all cost at the category level, working with logistics team to understand fluctuations. Provide financial support for cost savings opportunities and validate/track all implemented projects so there is visibility to bottom line impact.
Conduct PDS reviews with direct reports to improve skills and performance utilizing PDS as tool to conduct optimal performance discussions, articulate consistent skill evaluations, recommend actions and tactics, and measure progress. Support the widespread use of PDS within the finance organization. Promote and support Company culture within the finance organization.
Drive analysis of income statement through Monthly Performance Reviews. Drive actionable insights into the business through key performance indicators (KPI) to highlight trends and translate commercial and operational performance into measurable action plans. Develop, interpret and analyze complex financial concepts and techniques for financial planning and forecasting
Develop annual logistics operation plan budget. Provide intuitive analysis to help business know areas to reduce cost.
Provide intuitive reports and analysis to all necessary departments to improve business decisions and understanding. Research and develop streamlined processes to improve efficiency in retrieving data.
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to logistics leadership for decision-making purposes. Responsible for Logistics Annual Operating Planning process
Play a leading role in analyzing and planning to improve the logistics financial performance year-over-year. Find trends and opportunities in performance that can be leveraged for material growth opportunities and/or cost reductions. Work closely with logistics leaders to highlight opportunities, track progress and to flag performance challenges in order to deliver on the Company’s goals.
Drive analysis of logistics finances through Monthly Performance Reviews. Drive actionable insights into the business through key performance indicators (KPI) to highlight trends and translate operational performance into measurable action plans. Develop, interpret and analyze complex financial concepts and techniques for financial planning and forecasting.
Ensures management direct reports own 5 KPIs that measure the top manufacturing priorities. Keeps pressure on KPI performance and ensures corrective action is taken to achieve or exceed established targets.
Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency, cut operations costs and insure proper control of inventory.
Develop and maintain inventory control validation, cycle count programs, auditing of procedures, and communication of issues related to inventory accuracy. Control the overall assets of the plant related to inventory, spending controls, and cost reductions.
