WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Santander Bank is seeking a Director, Deposit Marketing to manage acquisition and engagement activities to drive deposit growth for our retail and digital businesses.
This highly visible and collaborative role works closely with leadership, marketing partners and business stakeholders to achieve household and deposit financial goals.
This is a management role with 2 direct reports and an expectation of growth as our digital deposit business grows in the next 24-36 months.
The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and highly collaborative working style. They will be a direct response expert with digital experience at a national / regional or online bank.
The best candidate will bring strong business acumen mixed with a diplomatic approach that keeps both internal and external partners in sync, bought in, and effectively driving the business forward together.
The right candidate will be a strong performance marketer, with experience developing and executing impactful integrated campaigns that drive both consideration and direct customer response.
u00A0They will be customer-centric in their approach and an expert of analysis and interpretation of data, heavily focused on analytics and ROI to guide decision making.
They are at the core, an expert in the digital space, and bring strength in team management, team development, cross functional collaboration, creative and strategic thinking, process development and execution.

Education :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Community Relations, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent field.
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Community Relations, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent field. (Pref)
Work Experience :
Marketing, 9-12 years
Financial Services experience and / or experience in regulated industries., (Pref)
Skills and Abilities :
Ability to foster a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging feedback and innovation.
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Ability to work with and influence senior management.
Ability to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns.
Comfortable in a highly collaborative environment, with the ability to work within a team and in a matrixed environment.
Must have excellent professional presentation skills, and the ability to interact and engage all levels of management / leadership.
Ability to regularly evaluate workload and prioritize projects.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership, initiative and planning skills.
Advanced knowledge of, and ability to use, all current graphic design programs and supporting creative programs.

Working Conditions : Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
