The ‘F&S’ team (Finance & Strategy) is the global promoter for sensible growth, delivering financial, business accountability, insight to optimize decisions, and shareholder success. The primary role of the Finance Manager is to provide extensive business partnering and financial support to the global Go-to-Market Organization. You will coordinate financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and decision support for Go-to-Market team. This role will primarily focus on Global GTM Planning and Analytics supporting Sales . You will partner with multiple functions including the Go-to-Market Organization, Corporate Finance, Global Sales Strategy and Metric teams to provide finance-based decision support for new resourcing and other investments, including cost optimization analysis, key Sales metrics, and supporting GTM’s annual and long range strategic planning.
Responsibilities :
Provide executives with clear insights into drivers of business growth, SaaS unit economics as well as helping to define key business success metrics;
Engage cross-functional, geo, and operations finance teams to drive global analyses, tools, and investment frameworks;
Drive decision making on resource allocation and other investment strategies. Identify key business drivers for business generation and resource productivity;
Build trusted relationships with key partners;
Drive & improve existing quarterly & annual management reporting – examine financial results, distill and synthesize issues, communicate key messages to senior management;
Build and maintain long-term financial models to understand new investment viability and support long-term resource allocation across total Sales;
Assist in analysis and presentation of strategic materials for key management meetings;
Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all key partners
Required Experience / Skills:
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
6+ years of FP&A or business finance experience, including experience at a global, publicly-traded company;
Track-record in process re-engineering and optimization;
Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment;
Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal);
Ability to think strategically and operate effectively with management;
Ability to inspire and coach team members for career development;
Experience with Hyperion, Oracle, Business Objects, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or other BI tools.
