What are we looking for in our Finance Manager ?

Our client, a global brand footwear and apparel corporation, is seeking a Finance Manager.

Contract W2

Pay Range : $50.00 – $55.00 per hour DOE

Location; Beaverton, OR (Hybrid)

Job Description :

The nature of the work is focused on the monetary affairs of the company.

• Work with initiative teams on business cases for all initiatives; validate assumptions
• Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation, and investments.
• Track initiatives. Build financial model with key drivers validated with initiative teams and determine costs to implement and benefits generated from initiatives;

align on appropriate pacing and phasing

• Determines progress against strategic plan, budget, and forecast. Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports on findings to make recommendations to management.
• Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, and other areas of business.
• Researches economic progressions to assist the organization’s financial planning.
• Update financial information in the portfolio tool (ARC)
• Understand the full transformation scope to assess the impact of other initiatives on business plans
• Gain expertise in building business cases and budgets and reviewing assumptions for reasonableness
• Provide consolidated financial data for ARC and inputs to Corp Finance for input to P&L
• Receive / review investment requests, advise on uses of funds
• Assess completeness and consistency (with other initiatives
• Support peers on financial tracking methodology, process, requirements
• Gain expertise in presenting information in a concise way

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 or 9 years of direct relevant work experience
• PhD or Law + 6 yrs; Masters + 7 yrs; Associate degree + 9 yrs; High School + 10 yrs. CMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, ACMA
• Strong financial modeling expertise
• Understand corporate finance concepts
• Strong presentation skills, knows how to draft slides
