Job Purpose Summary
The Director of Brand Marketing and Activations will play a lead role in Rubio’s brand positioning and implementation, beginning with helping to rollout the brand’s new positioning and ensuring all aspects of our internal and external communications are aligned. Reporting to the CMO, you will own the creation and execution of the integrated marketing content calendar across key customer touchpoints (website, app, email, social). You will direct all PR/earned media efforts, implement brand partnerships, influencer activations, and events, and support local store sales-driving initiatives. This role will manage agency relationships and coordinate with key team members both within marketing and across the organization to drive guest engagement and sales.

Major Business/Professional Contacts
Ability to communicate clear and concise directions to vendors, peers and restaurant personnel to achieve desired outcome. Interacts with all other Restaurant Support Center departments. Works independently on several projects, requiring self-discipline and motivation.
Working and Environmental Conditions
Based in Carlsbad, CA corporate office. Currently, a hybrid work model with 2 days in the office and the remaining remote is expected. This could change driven by business needs. Time split amongst a variety of jobs and tasks. Requires regional travel approximately 5- 10% of the time.
Physical Demands
Sitting at a computer and regional travel.

Computer, telephone, multi-purpose printer.
