Looking for a professional, proven HR Manager or Business Partner to join our team working for a growing company in a fast-paced environment. Separate recruiting, payroll, benefits, legal, safety and DOT. A-Z HR work throughout the employee lifecycle. Requires working closely with other department heads, the HR Director and ownership. Responsibilities:
· Ensure A-Z HR tasks are completed timely, accurately, and efficiently with all staff and companies
· All HR Generalist tasks as needed
· Lead investigations as directed
· Become expert on In-house systems (No HRIS or similar)
· Advising/coaching mangers on disciplinary/management issues with their employees
· Team responsible for PTO and VOE
· Remote hiring for other markets
· Daily communication with the HR Team and Director
· Issuing disciplinary action, up to and including termination
· Handbook, Drug and Alcohol Policies Updates
· Other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
· In person work/not a remote position
· Must have strong communication skills
· Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
· Keen attention to detail
· Proven process for accuracy
· Discretion and confidentiality
· Strength in professionalism and service
· Ability to multi task and keep pace/compartmentalize time
· High functioning computer skills
· Pass drug test and criminal background check
· PHR Certification or equivalent preferred
· Prior FMCSA/DOT experience a plus
· Third-party drug consortium experience a plus
